Register for the Eighth Annual Selected Topics in Neuroplastic & Reconstructive Surgery

This course will present evidence-based data on surgical approaches and state-of-the-art materials, engage and network with a broad array of colleagues and experts, and share high-yield experiences to help attendees improve their patients’ outcomes.

Interactive Q&A sessions at the end of each module will offer the opportunity to debate the evidence, exchange ideas, and gain invaluable insight to assist with the most challenging cases. Attendees will perform a skull implant during the cadaver lab under the guidance of a faculty.

This year’s Neuroplastic & Reconstructive Surgery Course will engage an international faculty and audience consisting of Neuroplastic surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Interventionists, Neuro-Oncologists, Neurologists, Neuroradiologists, and Plastic & Reconstructive surgeons to explore and elucidate the new insights and advances relative to neuroplastic surgery, cranioplasty, cranial implants, implantable neurotechnology, and techniques for diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of tumors and cerebrovascular diseases.

Eighth Annual Selected Topics in Neuroplastic & Reconstructive Surgery Chairpersons

What is Neuroplastic Surgery?

Neuroplastic or neuroplastic and reconstructive surgery is the surgical specialty involved in reconstruction or  restoration of patients who undergo surgery of the central or peripheral nervous system. The field includes a wide variety of surgical procedures that seek to restore or replace a patient’s skull, scalp, dura (the protective covering of the brain and spinal cord), the spine and/or its overlying tissues. Its mission is to "bridge the gap" between neurosurgery and plastic surgery, in an effort to make sure all neurosurgical patients have complete preservation and/or restoration of their pre-operative appearance.

What is the Society of Neuroplastic Surgery?

Founded in 2018, the Society of Neuroplastic Surgery (SNPS) is dedicated to fostering patient care, education and research in this new burgeoning field. Furthermore, through our multidisciplinary collaborations and unique member support, we aim to advance the art, science, and technology surrounding Neuroplastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Why is Neuroplastic Surgery so Important?

Listen to the experts' testimonials about the importance of neuroplastic surgery from Dr. Henry Brem, the chief of neurosurgery, and Dr. Paul Manson, the former chief of plastic surgery.
